District Managers

District Managers act as liaisons between the Corporate Office and approximately 50 stores. District Managers are responsible for directing and controlling overall store operations including customer satisfaction, profitability, sales and personnel. The primary job duties of this position include the following:

  • Travel within designated district to ensure all company personnel and store operations policies are adhered to and that company standards are maintained.
  • Review profit and loss statements to determine store profitability; make recommendations and take action for improvement.
  • Train Area Supervisors in all aspects of store operations and ensure Store Managers are properly trained.
  • Supervise directly, or through reporting managers, personnel activity, including hiring, training, salary administration, performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Delegate work assignments to reporting personnel.
  • Provide guidance to subordinates regarding store operations. 

 

Qualified applicants will possess knowledge of convenience store operations, personnel management, marketing concepts and food service sanitation requirements. Applicants must also have effective business communication and negotiation skills. Travel is required.
